In November 2008, the Center passed the assessment, review and on-spot accreditation organized by the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In early 2009, it formally obtained the National Certificate of Metrology Accreditation, the Authorization of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Certification of Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Testing Organization. Up to now, the center has processed thousands of batches of samples from administrative departments and enterprises with advanced analytical techniques and strict quality management. At the same time, the center has completed couples of missions issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, which has contributed to the improvement of supervising transgenic plants and products.
