(1) Business scope: detection of genetically modified plants and components, environmental safety testing of genetically modified plants, technical consultation and training
(2) Clienteles need to fill in the Sample Inspection Entrustment Form of the Center, which needs to be signed and sealed by the authorized representative.
(3) Samples for inspection: The testing data and inspection conclusions are only responsible for the samples sent for inspection.Objections and re-inspection application should be submitted in written form within 15 days from the date of receipt of the report. Special circumstances can be resolved through negotiation.
Subsample storage time: Under normal circumstances, genetically modified samples will be retained for 6 months. Samples with positive test results will be retained for 1 year. Fresh samples will not be retained. Samples are stored according to their nature. Samples (such as seeds) used for environmental safety testing of genetically modified plants are generally kept at low temperature for testing period + 1 growing season. Taking biodiversity impact testing as an example, if samples for 1 growing season (often 1 year) are tested, they will be retained for 2 growing seasons (two years). If samples for 2 growing seasons are tested, they will be retained for 3 growing seasons (three years). The requirement of storage for special samples can be negotiated separately.
(4) Size of samples:
①Based on regulation No. 2031-19-2013 of Ministry of Agriculture Announcement, the minimum amount of genetically modified samples is listed in the following table:
Minimum sample volume
Categories | Minimum amount of sample |
Rice seeds, Rice | 486 g |
Maize seeds, Maize kernels | 5130 g |
Soybean seeds, Soybean | 3600 g |
Rape seed, Rapeseed | 72 g |
Cotton seeds | 1620 g |
Barley, Wheat | 666 g |
Oatmeal | 576 g |
Papaya seeds | 300 g |
Tomato seeds and other small solids | More than 18000 grains |
Rice flour, Soybean flour, Maize flour, Rapeseed meal and other processed products | More than 3000 g |
Plant | 6 leaves |
Large unit output (tomato, papaya, etc.) | 6 single samples |
Note: The minimum sample volume includes the samples and subsamples. If the sample submitted fails to meet the requirement, or if the sample submitted is fresh, the sub samples will not be retained, nor will the re-inspection will be conducted.
②The sample volume of safety testing of environment for genetically modification shall be determined through consultation between the two parties.
(5) The requirement of withdrawal of subsamples, testing the remaining samples and reports of technical data should clearly be stated in the Sample Inspection Entrustment Form.
(6) Inspection report is claimed with the Inspection Sample Entrustment Form, Our center can handle the report to postal services. Our center shall not be liable for the safety of the mailing and all consequences arising therefrom.
(7) Inspection fees should be paid first. Special circumstances can be resolved through negotiation.
(8) If you need an invoice, please send us the taxpayer identification number or unified social credit code with remittance; otherwise, the invoice will be issued for personal beneficiary.
